About Katie

Katie Lloyd is an artist and intuitive based in Nimbin, New South Wales, Australia, and part of the wider Northern Rivers arts community. Her work explores womanhood, the divine feminine, the natural world, and the subtle layers of lived and unseen reality. Through painting, intuitive art, and tarot, she creates spaces for reflection, connection, and embodied self understanding.

Katie’s art practice is intuitive and process led. She works across watercolour and ink on paper, sometimes layered together and sometimes allowed to stand alone, as well as luminous acrylic paintings on canvas. Her work includes yoni art, expressive portraits of women, animal imagery, and symbolic landscapes. These pieces often carry a sense of magic and enchantment, celebrating femininity in its many forms, including strength, softness, mystery, intuition, and transformation.

At the heart of her practice is an honouring of the female experience. Katie’s work celebrates womanhood through both symbolic and figurative imagery, from yoni art that reveres the vulva as a sacred and creative force, to whimsical and intuitive portraits that reflect emotional depth, inner worlds, and the quiet power of feminine presence. Animals appear throughout her work as companions, guides, or mirrors, reflecting the shared relationship between humans and the natural world.

Katie’s studio in Nimbin operates as a working open studio and gallery. It is a space where she paints, exhibits her work, and welcomes visitors during open hours or by appointment. Her connection to place, land, and community is an important influence on her practice.

Alongside her visual art, Katie also offers intuitive tarot readings. These sessions are conversational and empowering, focused on clarity, reflection, and self trust rather than prediction. Both her art and tarot work are guided by the same intention of supporting connection, insight, and personal agency.

Katie’s work is available online, through her Nimbin studio, and internationally via Yoni Mudra Gallery in Waterloo, Canada. Art licensing and contractual agreements are managed through her licensing manager, Artshine, based in Pyrmont, Sydney.
