Dragonfly Cavern

High on the edge of a cliff, a golden castle looks out over a cavern filled with violet mist.

Two great dragonflies hover in the foreground on wings as fine as lace, while a stream of tiny glowing dragonflies drifts upward through the air like sparks of light. On the far side of the cavern, a hidden doorway is set into the mossy rock, waiting for whoever is brave or curious enough to find it.

This painting is about the hidden worlds that sit just beyond the everyday, the kind of place you might only glimpse at dusk or in the moment before you fall asleep.
